The Parabike is the epitome of practical, reliable and stylish cycling, being as it is an evolution of the Airborne bicycles of the Second World War. These were carried by British paratroopers dropping into occupied France, who would use these cycles to get around both city and countryside on their important missions. We encourage customers to collect their bikes from our shop in Stratford-upon-Avon so we can fully assemble the bike and adjust it to fit perfectly. We can also deliver to any UK address for £40. Bikes are boxed and need a small amount of assembly on arrival – usually the pedals need to go on and the handlebars need straightening – We can talk you through this if needed.
Additional Information
For city rides, the Brooks B67 saddle, weather resistant mudguards and an upright yet dynamic riding position all make for an efficient and relaxed ride. The further addition of robust Schwalbe tyres with extra puncture protection, reliable Sturmey Archer hub brakes and wide-ratio 5 speed hub gears means you and your Parabike can head out of town on all sorts of adventures, safe in the knowledge that your bicycle can stand up to the rigours of even the most rural of rides.
The Parabike is therefore a wholly refreshing alternative to the modern hybrid bicycle and carries with it reassurance of a long-standing history of excellence, both in its military roots and the stamp of Pashley hand-built quality.

To select the correct frame size for you, first measure your inside leg length (from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh) in inches.
